The ingredients you will need are:

  • 1 Pound of White chocolate
  • 1/2 Cup of chopped Almonds
  • 1/2 Cup of Raisins

    To make this Valentine candy all you have to do is melt chocolate until it becomes smooth. You can do this in the microwave or the gas. To the melted chocolate add raisins and almonds. Once it has slightly cooled pour it onto wax paper in shapes and this will result in your candy. Once it is completely cool divide it into pieces and enjoy your Almond Bark Candy.

    Another favorite Valentine candy recipe is for Jelly Candies. The ingredients you will need are:-

  • Sugar for coating
  • 3 Envelopes of unflavored gelatin
  • 6 drops of Yellow food coloring
  • 1/4 cup of Orange juice
  • 2 cups of Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of grated Lemon rind
  • 1 cup of Water
  • 2 tablespoon of Lemon juice
  • 6 drops of Yellow food coloring
  • 2 tablespoon of grated Orange rind

    To prepare jelly candies, mix gelatin and sugar in a large pan and stir in water. Stir constantly and boil the mixture for 20 minutes.

    Remove the pan from heat and add orange and lemon rinds, food coloring and juices. Stir for a few minutes and strain into a well-oiled pan. Refrigerate until the mixture gets firm and keep in the fridge for 4 hours.

    Loosen around sides with a slim knife and upturn it onto slightly oiled cookie sheet. Cut into 1-inch sized cubes by pressing a sharp knife through the jelly. Lastly coat it with powdered sugar and store.
