5. In the morning lift the muslin cloth with the flowers from the water. This will leave excess water in the bowl.
6. Now squeeze the water soaked petals in an airtight bottle. You can use this extract as perfume. If stored properly this homemade perfume can last for nearly a month.
Homemade perfumes can be used as room freshening. You can add it to your bath water and the entire day you will smell like fresh flowers.
